CAMDEN, N.J. (KYW Newsradio) — Camden County plans to relocate its social services headquarters from Camden to Stratford.

The current headquarters in what used to be an old Lit’s Department Store just won’t do anymore.

Another good thing about the Stratford site the free parking, which is unavailable where they are now.

"We estimate that it will take about 18 to 24 months to get the whole project completed,” Rodriguez added. “The costs are somewhere around $5.1 million, which is a whole lot less than what we had anticipated with the other site.”

About 500 staffers work in the Social Services agency and take care of about 800 people a day.
