PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A mental health provider has started an online support group to help parents deal with the many challenges brought on by the pandemic.

"A Mom's Toolkit for Coping with COVID-19" is a free biweekly Zoom meeting open to both moms and dads.

Licensed marriage and family therapist Vanina Hochman leads the discussion.

Hochman said the group is "a place where they could come and have a meaningful conversation with a licensed professional and also give them tips on how to make it through this time with your kids."

Time management is the biggest concern Hochman said she's heard among mothers.

"We go from homeschooling to work to cooking to cleaning to entertaining," she said, "to cutting the kids' hair to doing everything all at once really with no breaks."

The next hour-long meeting is Wednesday, May 20 at 8:00 p.m. Information on how to join can be found here.
