She says about 4,000 girls attend summer camp annually and will now be invited to sign up for special online summer programs held on the Girls Scouts at Home website.
Magne Gunderson, Scout executive for the Washington Crossing Council serving Bucks County, says they’re hoping to salvage part of the season at Camp Ockanickon.
“May 15 we’ll make a decision to continue with the first three weeks of seven,” Gunderson said.
Chester County Council is also targeting May 15 as the deadline for its decision on this year’s summer camp season.
