PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A man who witnessed firefighters rescue kids from a burning apartment building Monday morning in West Philly has drawn the attention of the Eagles' Nelson Agholor.

In a video what went viral, he took a swipe at Agholor's performance in Sunday night's game against the Detroit Lions. Now Agholor has tweeted a response.

Hakim Laws was in the right place at the right time when the fire broke out before dawn at a three-story apartment building at 52nd and Girard streets.

Laws says he saw a desperate father screaming for help on the roof and directed arriving firefighters to where the kids were.

He spoke to news media after he says he pitched in to help at the scene. He described what that father did to save his children.

"My man just started throwing babies out the window. We was catching them. Unlike Agholar ...."

Agholor caught a touchdown in Sunday's contest with Detroit, but he also dropped some balls, a performance that didn't escape the eagle eyes of Birds fans frustrated with the loss.

After Laws took a dig at the Eagles wide receiver, the video got the attention of Agholor himself, who tweeted a response.

It was a touch of class to take the criticism and return it with kindness.
