
“It was done to show respect, to learn, to grow, and to make our country better. From the standpoint of that, I’m really proud of our players,” coach Jim Curtin said.
Curtin was proud of the way his players handled the unusual conditions, which featured an early morning start and a contest with no fans in the stands.
“A lot went into the last four months in preparation in terms of the players' fitness, their mentality, their mindset, to get to this point. I hope they made the city of Philadelphia proud,” he said.
