Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office investigating video that shows officer punching man during arrest

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — The Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office says it’s conducting an investigation after a video posted on social media shows a police officer repeatedly punching a man during an arrest.

Authorities say this incident happened around 3 a.m. Sunday along Paciffic Avenue in Wildwood, where bars and restaurants are located.

The prosecutor's office is trying to determine if the officer violated use of justifiable force.
