The westbound Schuykill was shut down around 8:30 a.m. just past Montgomery Drive when an oil truck of some kind overturned and spilled out onto the expressway.
Drivers who had made it past the Montgomery exit then began to drive the wrong way back in an attempt to use the on-ramp as an off-ramp.
That's causing even more problems as those cars try to merge with cars being detoured away from the westbound lanes of the expressway.
