It's been a rite of summer for the last decade. The music festival, hosted by Philadelphia's own legendary The Roots, has been bringing a full slate of musical performers to a multi-stage setup on the riverfront every year. But this year's Picnic will be held on the other side of town.
Drummer Questlove announced on social media that the show was headed for the greener pastures of the Mann Music Center at Fairmount Park on June 1.
He also announced a numer of DJs and musical guests, including "&More" — which consists of Philadelphia natives singer Donn T and rapper Chill Moody.
Other acts announced for this year: Asiahn, Resistance Revival Chorus, Leven Kali, Moonchild, Tobe Nwigwe, Ari Lennox, Blueface, City Girls, Queen Naija, Davido, and Tank and the Bangas.
