
It’s the season of cozy flannels, spooky festivals and pumpkin-flavored everything — well, whenever Mother Nature decides to drop the temperature below 80 degrees.
Aside from pre-October festivities, this weekend is your last chance to enjoy Spruce Street Harbor Park before it closes for the season, as well as the final runway shows for Philly Fashion Week at the newly opened Fashion District.

DETAILS: Pick your own vegetables and fruits — specifically, apples — during the height of the season. There will be a pie-eating contest, hay rides, train rides, pony rides, live music, and other entertainment for the whole family.

DETAILS: Dozens of restaurants and food vendors will provide a variety of international cuisine. There will be live performances, including a Parade of Nations ceremony with flags representing the countries of township residents.

EVENT: Philly Music Fest
DATE: Friday and Saturday
WHERE: World Cafe Live
DETAILS: Support the music scene in Philadelphia with a showcase of up-and-coming artists. There will be local chefs, craft beer and distilleries making cocktails. The organization itself is a nonprofit that supports local musicians, music venues and music education programs. The festival concludes at World Cafe Live with nearly 20 performances.

EVENT: Fall for the Arts Festival
DATE/TIME: Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
WHERE: Germantown Avenue between Willow Grove and Rex avenues, Chestnut Hill
DETAILS: There will be more than 150 distinctive vendors and artists, featuring glass-blowing, hand-weaving and spinning, jewelry production, black-smithing, oil painting, and paper art. There will also be antique and classic cars, a children's zone, live music, and food and drink.
