Dennis Edward is a Philadelphia native and graduate of Temple University. He joined KYW Newsradio in 2000 as a desk assistant.
In his current role of Newsroom Operations Manager, Edward helps make sure everything runs smoothly in the newsroom. Duties include running the school closing system for KYW Newsradio and helping to coordinate the KYW Newstudies Program.

- On-site producer for an interview between KYW special contributor Larry Kane and then Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL)
- On-site producer for 2008 World Series Parade coverage
- Being part of KYW Newsradio broadcast team that won the 2010 Regional Edward R. Murrow Award for coverage of the Philadelphia International Cycling Championship
- On-site producer for 2018 Super Bowl Parade coverage
