PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — As we continuously adapt to whatever 2020 throws at us, there's still fun to be had with family and friends in and around Philadelphia.

Scroll below for a list of things to do this weekend — from a safe and social distance, of course.

HOLIDAY SHOPPING

Explore Christmas Village and the Made in Philadelphia Holiday Market at LOVE Park and City Hall. The events are following coronavirus protocols and capping visitors at a given time to keep with social distancing efforts.

The markets, where you can shop from more than 60 vendors, are open daily beginning at 11 a.m.

Looking for a unique Christmas tree ornament? The Brandywine River Museum of Art is having its annual Holiday Critter Sale. Choose from thousands of cute "critters," made from all-natural materials by volunteers. Head there early, as the sale begins at 9:30 a.m. on Friday.

WINTER ACTIVITIES

Experience the holiday spirit come to life at East Market in Center City. Check out murals in partnership with Mural Arts Philadelphia, or grab a festive craft cocktail and a seasonal bagel.

Looking for some lights? Reserve your tickets to Winter on Broad Street for its holiday light spectacular.

Chestnuts are roasting at the Holiday Fire Pit Festival at Fort Mifflin on Saturday. Bring your favorite holiday attire (and a chair or blanket) and explore the history of this area while warming up by the fire. Reserve your tickets in advance.

Delaware County's Festival of Lights opens Friday at Rose Tree Park in Upper Providence. Catch the holiday spirit nightly from 5 to 10 p.m. now through Jan. 3. Admission and parking are free, no reservations required.

Head to Northern Star Farm's Winter Fest for Christmas trees, holiday photos, real reindeer, and more. Open Saturday and Sunday, bring the family for a day of free fun. All proceeds from Christmas trees are donated to Boy Scout Troop 7155.

Then, ice skate next to the Delaware River at the Blue Cross RiverRink Winterfest. Or, check out the Wild Lights at the Elmwood Park Zoo. Reserve your tickets to both online.
