ENTERTAINMENT

Philadelphia Parks and Recreation's drive-in is showing some of your favorite spooky movies all month. This weekend, check out the classic "Edward Scissorhands," or the critically acclaimed psychological thriller "Get Out" by director Jordan Peele, for a special late night screening.

Later on, carve pumpkins at Morgan's Pier (reservations required) or take a walk through the Morris Arboretum's 13th annual Scarecrow Walk. Either event is sure to get you into the autumnal mood.

FOOD AND DRINK

Have yourself a good ol' pint at the 11th annual Charlie Brown Pumpkin Beer Festival. With all things pumpkin for food and drink offerings, join The Institute Craft Bar and Kitchen on Saturday and Sunday for a reservation-only morning, afternoon, or evening of good ol' pumpkin fun.

You can book a table for two hours at $7 a person, sold in groups of four to six. Each ticket gets you a free pumpkin beer.

Tired of eating at the same kitchen table every night? Enjoy an evening of music and food with A Night Under the Stars at the Ridgeland Mansion at Fairmount Park on Sunday. Each ticket purchase comes with various menu choices from Joshua's Catering, as well as a signature cocktail. Advanced tickets are required, which are $50 per person.

The month also marks Oktoberfest celebrations in New Jersey and Philly. On Friday and Saturday, head over to Ardmore Oktoberfest and support local businesses, which will offer a variety of menus and price points. You can even opt for takeout.

On Sunday, head to South Jersey for a variety of German brews and more at Keg & Kitchen's event. Bring your appetite for schnitzel, brats, and more. Reservations are free for groups of four, six and eight.

And, the inaugural Dine Latino Restaurant Week wraps up this weekend. Support a selection of Latino-owned restaurants during National Hispanic Heritage Month.

Dine al fresco or takeout, and enjoy a complimentary dessert or appetizer with two dinner entrees. ¡Saludos! Cheers!
