DETAILS: Artists, creatives and anyone who wants to get their hands dirty, gather around for the Ocean City Sand Sculpting Contest. The contest is open to kids, teens, adults and families. Registration opens at 9 a.m.

Wildwood Crest Sand Sculpting Contest

DATE/TIME: Friday, July 7 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
WHERE: Heather Road Beach, Wildwood

Boat Racing at the Shore

DETAILS: Jersey Shore Boat Racing brings some of the “fastest boats and racers at the Shore.” You can be the judge of that. Besides boat racing, there will be food trucks and other activities throughout the day. And if you can’t come to this event, they have another one in August.

North Wildwood Chalk Contest

DETAILS: Dust off for the North Wildwood Chalk Contest. The sidewalk chalk drawing competition starts at 9 a.m. Awards will be presented by 11 a.m. You can register the day of the event.

Ruggerfest 2023
DATE/TIME: Saturday, July 8 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
WHERE: Dealy Field, 5900 Central Ave., Sea Isle City
DETAILS: Sea Isle Ruggerfest is a 40-year-old tradition organized by Blackthorn Rugby Football Club. The daylong event is for “any and every rugger.” There will be more than 20 men’s and women’s games throughout the day, so players can try a new position, play with new players and make some friends.

David Bowie Tribute Concert
