South Street Smorgasbord
Let’s take Restaurant Week and give it a South Philly twist! The first ever South Street Smorgasboard features dinner and lunch specials from neighborhood staples like Brauhaus Schmitz and Tattoed Mom. There will also be “Snacks on South” from businesses like Federal Donuts and The Sweet Life Bakeshop and a bunch of new restaurants to check out. Deals include $40-45 Dinner specials, $20 lunch specials and $10 and under snack deals. The deals are on all week, until Oct. 1 at select restaurants.
Pixar Putt Philadelphia
There’s a snake in my putt! The ultimate pop-up mini golf experience is here at Penns Landing from now until Oct. 1. The 18 fun and interactive holes are inspired by your favorite Pixar films like Toy Story, Monsters Inc., Wall-E, Turning Red, Lightyear and more. The family-friendly event has fun for everyone of all ages, including a special After Dark session for those 18+. The course opens at noon at 101 S. Christopher Columbus Blvd. You can buy your tickets online for $30.
Citizenship Art Bazaar

See how art informs and inspires citizenship at the Citizenship Art Bazaar at Lenfest Plaza. Make art, enjoy music, soak up stories and learn how citizenship can be a part of all of it. Booth hosts include Art Reach, Indigenous People’s Day Philly, the Marian Anderson Museum and Historical Society and so much more! The free event goes from 12 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 30 at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts on 118 N. Broad St.
Midtown Village Fall Festival
Sip some cider and enjoy the fall weather at the 16th annual Midtown Village Fall Festival. Enjoy a variety of activities including live entertainment, pumpkin-spiced snacks, apple-themed bites, merchant and vendor displays, crafters, children’s activities and more! The fun starts on Saturday, Sept. 30 from 12 to 8 p.m. in Midtown Village between 12th and 13th Streets.
Scarecrows in the Village at Peddler’s Village
Spooky season is here! Peddler’s Village 44th annual Scarecrows in the Village displays 100 scarecrows from beloved childhood favorites to fan-favorite mascots. You have until Oct. 29 to stroll through the village and until Oct. 9 to vote for your favorite scarecrow.
