PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — This weekend on The KYW To-Do List: Pride continues with drag brunches and performances, things get yeasty at Cherry Street Pier, and circus performers take over FringArts.

EVENT: Drive ‘N Drag Saves 2021

DATE: Friday through Sunday

WHERE: King of Prussia Mall

DETAILS: Join the Queens of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” for a special outdoor drive-in performance that will be sure to save you from 2020. Tickets are going fast, so be sure to buy yours early.

EVENT: Doylestown Pride Festival

DATE: June 13 to 19

WHERE: Doylestown

DETAILS: Look no further than Doylestown for a week filled with Pride-themed events. The festivities kick off on Sunday with a drag brunch, a children’s concert and a film screening of “Gay Chorus Deep South.”

PRICE: Prices vary depending on event

EVENT: Pride Celebration at Please Touch Museum

DATE/TIME: Friday; timed sessions from 9 a.m. to noon and 1:30 to 4:30 p.m

WHERE: Please Touch Museum, 4231 Avenue of the Republic, Philadelphia

DETAILS: Join the museum for an interactive storytime hosted by Philadelphia’s own drag queen Brittany Lynn. Kids will also learn about the science behind rainbows and will be encouraged to create their own.

PRICE: General admission $19 per person/child with reservation

EVENT: Philly Pride 5K

DATE: Sunday through June 20

WHERE: Virtual run

DETAILS: Choose your start time, location and course for this Philly Pride 5K. Just be sure to register and run between June 13 and 20 to qualify for a variety of prizes.

PRICE: $30 with registration

FESTIVALS & MUSIC

EVENT: Hand to Hand: A FringeArts Circus Festival

DATE: Through June 13

WHERE: FringeArts, 140 N. Columbus Blvd., Old City

DETAILS: Catch the tail end of the circus festival happening at Fringe Arts with the multidisciplinary piece called “Eventide,” performed by modern circus performers and dancers through Sunday. On Saturday, teachers from the Philadelphia School of Circus Arts will be doing a free workshop to teach basic acrobatics, juggling and more.

EVENT: Celebration of Fermentation Farmer’s Market

DATE/TIME: Friday, 4 to 9 p.m.

WHERE: Cherry Street Pier, 121 N. Christopher Columbus Blvd., Old City

DETAILS: Fermented culture has been gaining popularity in recent years. Come see what local artisans are creating, including beer, bread, kimchi, kombucha and much more.

PRICE: Pay as you go

EVENT: Saturday Night Jazz: Music of B.B. King and Muddy Waters

DATE/TIME: Saturday, sessions at 5 and 7 p.m.

WHERE: Woodmere Art Museum, 9201 Germantown Ave., Chestnut Hill

DETAILS: The music of the King and Father of the Blues come together for a special night of jazz. Suona master from China, Yazhi Guo, joins vocalist Lisa Chavous and guitarist and vocalist Rich Tucker to play the music of B.B. King and Muddy Waters.

PRICE: $15 to $25 with registration

EVENT: West Park Arts Fest

DATE/TIME: Virtual programming on Friday; in-person on Saturday, 1 to 4 p.m.

WHERE: Parkside Edge, West Fairmount Park

DETAILS: Whether you’re joining online or in person, there are plenty of activities for the whole family at this special arts festival. Online activities include a virtual marketplace and a conversation with the author of “Red Island House,” Andrea Lee. The in-person festivities on Saturday include live music and dance performances, plus crafts for the kids.

PRICE: Free but donations are encouraged
