PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Harvest Weekend is taking over Center City, where you can watch circus performers and professional pumpkin carvers do their thing.

Then, search for ghosts by candlelight at historic Fort Mifflin, or head to Northern Liberties for a ghoulish take on a bloody mary.

EVENT: Blue Cross Broad Street Run
DATE/TIME: Sunday, 8 a.m.
WHERE: Starts at Fisher Avenue and follows Broad Street to the Novacare Complex on Pattison Avenue
UPDATES FOR 2021: Spectators will not be allowed at the start of the race or the finish line and are strongly discouraged from attending the race in person. Activities along the race route, such as cheer zones, will also be suspended. Road closures, including on Broad Street, will also be in place.

EVENT: Oktoberfest at Craft Hall
DATE: Through Sunday
WHERE: Craft Hall, 901 N. Delaware Ave., Northern Liberties
DETAILS: Craft Hall’s 10-day Oktoberfest ends this weekend with beer from Mainstays Brewing Company, pumpkin decorating, traditional biergarten decor, and more. Additionally, there is an indoor playground for kids and a puppy porch for the pooches.

EVENT: Oktoberfest at Morgan’s Pier
DATE/TIME: Saturday, 2 to 6 p.m.
WHERE: Morgan’s Pier, 221 N. Christopher Columbus Blvd., Old City
DETAILS: Oktoberfest returns to Morgan’s Pier after a brief hiatus. There will be an open beer bar, unlimited soft pretzels, food specials, and live music from local band Dub-C Daddy.

EVENT: Indigenous Peoples Weekend with the Museum
DATE: Saturday through Monday
WHERE: Museum of the American Revolution, 101 S. Third St., Old City
DETAILS: As part of Indigenous Peoples Weekend, explore Native American history through films, discussions, dances and more.
PRICE: Free with museum admission

EVENT: Indigenous Peoples Day
DATE/TIME: Sunday, 12 to 4 p.m.
WHERE: Bartram’s Garden, 5400 Lindbergh Blvd., West Philadelphia
DETAILS: Bartram’s Garden honors indigenous past, present and future with a family-friendly outdoor event featuring speakers, dancers, drummers and more.
PRICE: Free to attend

EVENT: Harvest Weekend
DATE: Through Sunday
WHERE: Dilworth Park, 1 S. 15th St., Center City
DETAILS: Bring in the fall with pumpkin carving demonstrations, circus performers and even COVID-19 vaccinations for those over 12. There will be plenty of bratwurst and Bavarian pretzels to go around, plus some festive cocktails.

EVENT: Candlelight Ghost Tours
DATE/TIME: Saturday, 7 p.m.
WHERE: Fort Mifflin, 6400 Hog Island Road, Southwest Philadelphia
DETAILS: No decorations and real ghosts can either be a perk or a reason to stay home for this authentic ghost tour. Explore For Mifflin by candlelight and learn about its haunted history.
PRICE: $20 with registration

EVENT: Monster Mash: Northern Liberties Bloody Mary Challenge
DATE: Through Oct. 17
WHERE: Various restaurants in Northern Liberties
DETAILS: Which restaurant has the best bloody mary? More than a dozen Northern Liberties restaurants will be dishing out their variation of the cocktail with guests judging it based on four categories: right spice, taste, “bling,” and Halloween-ness.

EVENT: DesignPhiladelphia Festival
DATE: Through Oct. 17
WHERE: Various locations around Philadelphia
DETAILS: The decade-old design festival is back with 10 days of exhibitions, tours, programs, workshops and more all around the city.

EVENT: Delco Arts Week
DATE: Through Saturday
WHERE: Various locations throughout Delaware County
DETAILS: Delco Arts Week wraps up on Saturday with a ton of events on the weekend roster. Delco Film Festival, wool painting, “Robin Hood” and the Fall Into the Arts Festival are just some of the activities taking place.
