PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — This weekend in Philly: Mt. Airy Day’s street festival returns for the 50th year, and Free Comic Book Day turns 20 this weekend. Remember to celebrate mom with the gift of food and bottomless mimosas at restaurants participating in special Mother’s Day brunches.

Amada, 217-219 Chestnut St., Old City

TIME: 12 to 3 p.m.

DEALS: Pick from the a la carte menu or special prix fixe items like crab Benedict, French toast and more.

PRICE: $35 per person

Craft Hall, 901 N. Delaware Ave., Northern Liberties

TIME: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

DEALS: Mom will get free flowers as well as an endless buffet, bottomless mimosas and more. There’s also a dedicated indoor playground for the kids to play.

PRICE: $39.95 for adults, $15 for guest under 21, free for kids under 5 (one free child per adult)

Positano Coast, 212 Walnut St. floor 2, Old City

TIME: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

DEALS: Enjoy bottomless brunch options, mimosas and sangria. There will also be a special Mother’s Day dinner from 3 to 9 p.m. with specials like pan-seared branzino, eggplant parmigiana and more.

PRICE: $28 per person

Caffe Aldo Lamberti, 2011 Marlton Pike West, Cherry Hill, New Jersey

TIME: 12 to 9 p.m.

DEALS: If you’d rather sleep in, check out Cherry Hill’s Caffe Aldo Lamberti for lunch and dinner options. Options include Maine lobster, filet mignon and more.

Oldestone, 15 S. Main St., New Hope

TIME: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

DEALS: Join Oldestone for its first-ever Mother’s Day brunch with spring cocktails, a raw bar and specials like pancakes, frittatas and more.

DATE/TIME: Saturday, 12 to 7 p.m. (postponed until June 11)

WHERE: Germantown Avenue between Upsal and Johnson streets

DETAILS: Mt. Airy Day was originally created to bring together residents in East and West Mount Airy on either side of Germantown Ave. Now in its 50th year, the street festival has food, rides, live music, tons of vendors and more.

PRICE: Free to attend

EVENT: Free Comic Book Day

DATE/TIME: All day Saturday

WHERE: Participating comic book stores in the region

DETAILS: Since 2002, comic book stores across the globe have chosen a single collective day to give away special comic books for free. Locally, check out Amalgam Comics & Coffeehouse, Atomic City Comics and Secret Origins Comics & More. Some shops are extending the freebies due to weather, so be sure to check on their social media.

EVENT: Spring Open Studios

DATE/TIME: Friday, 6 to 9 p.m.

WHERE: Bok, 1901 S. Ninth St., South Philadelphia

DETAILS: Meet the more than 200 small businesses and makers that call Bok (formerly called Bok Vocational High School) home, including a coffee shop, glass blowers, a bike shop, wood workers, a hair salon and more.

Summerfest

EVENT: Opening weekend of Summerfest and Spruce Street Harbor Park

DATE: Both open on Friday

WHERE: Along Columbus Boulevard, Penn’s Landing

DETAILS: Summerfest is back on the waterfront with rollerskating, mini golf, carnival games, rides and more. Spruce Street Harbor Park also returns with hammocks, a beer garden on the water and food options from popular restaurants.
