PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Halloween is here! It’s the most spine-chilling weekend of the year, with haunted houses, parties and costume contests for even our four-legged friends.

Spooky season wraps up for Franklin Square’s themed mini golf, Betsy Ross House’s twilight tour, Morris Arboretum’s Scarecrow Walk and The Philadelphia Zoo’s Boo at the Zoo.

Enjoy all the creepy attractions this weekend while you can and enjoy your Halloween!

HALLOWEEN

EVENT: Spooky Mini Golf

DATE/TIME: Through Sunday, 6 to 10 p.m.

WHERE: Franklin Square, 200 N. 6th St., Old City

DETAILS: Spooky golf wraps up at Franklin Square this weekend with other special Halloween activities. On Saturday between 12 and 2 p.m., there will be a trick-or-treating event around the square. If you also want to check out the Betsy Ross House, the Spooky Twosome discount gets you golf and admission to Spooky Twilight Tours.

PRICE: $15 for adults, $12 for kids

EVENT: Spooky Twilight Tour

DATE/TIME: Friday, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

WHERE: Betsy Ross House, 239 Arch St., Old City

DETAILS: Travel back to the 1700s and learn about Philadelphia’s gruesome history of infection and inoculation. There will be tales about yellow fever, smallpox and more.

PRICE: $12 with registration

EVENT: Hocus Pocus Drive-In

DATE/TIME: Saturday, movie starts at 6:30 p.m.

WHERE: IKEA parking lot, 2206 S. Christopher Columbus Boulevard, South Philadelphia

DETAILS: The Pennsylvania SPCA and IKEA are teaming up for a spooky Halloween movie drive-in that will be sure to put a spell on you. Treat bags will also be handed out to every car in attendance.

PRICE: Tickets start at $45 per car

EVENT: Halloween Hooplah at Cherry Street Pier

DATE/TIME: Saturday, 12 to 4 p.m.

WHERE: Cherry Street Pier, 121 N. Christopher Columbus Blvd., Penn’s Landing

DETAILS: Bring your child out to Cherry Street Pier for pumpkin painting and a Monster Mash Dance Party. Costumes are optional, but encouraged.

PRICE: $10 per child, adults are free

EVENT: Scarecrow Walk

DATE/TIME: Through Sunday

WHERE: Morris Arboretum, 100 E. Northwestern Ave., Chestnut Hill?

DETAILS: The 14th annual Scarecrow Walk is happening through the end of the month. This year’s theme is celebrating heroes and recognizing those who had courage when faced with fright. Many of the scarecrows depict first responders and essential workers.

PRICE: Free with Arboretum admission

EVENT: Day of the Dead Bike Ride

DATE/TIME: Sunday, 4:30 to 7 p.m.

WHERE: Meet at the Indego Station at 1084 Washington Ave., South Philadelphia

DETAILS: Dress as Catrinas or Calaveras for a 3.5-mile bike ride from South Philadelphia to the Day of the Dead altar in Love Park. Learn about other Day of the Dead traditions through the eyes of writer José Carlos Pérez Sámano.

EVENT: Hound-a-Ween Fall Festival

DATE/TIME: Sunday, 12 to 4 p.m.

WHERE: Laurel St. at 2nd St., Northern Liberties

DETAILS: Do you take pride in dressing your pup up for Halloween? Register them in this special costume contest for the chance to win $500. There will be five categories to compete in and proceeds benefit Street Tails Animal Rescue.

PRICE: $30 to register a dog, free to watch

EVENT: Boo at the Zoo

DATE: Through Oct. 31

WHERE: Philadelphia Zoo, 3400 W. Girard Ave., West Philadelphia

DETAILS: Trick or treat among the tigers, elephants and giraffes with Boo at the Zoo. There will be plenty of photo opportunities, candy and festive fall offerings. Don’t forget to wear your costume.

PRICE: Free with zoo admission

EVENT: Fright Factory

DATE/TIME: Through Sunday

WHERE: 2200 Swanson St., South Philadelphia

DETAILS: Can you handle 25,000 square feet of pure fright? If you think so, this 120 year old factory in Philly has an intriguing basement attraction split into three terrifying themes.

PRICE: Tickets start at $25, but vary depending on the date and time

EVENT: Halloween Nights

DATE/TIME: Thursday through Sunday

WHERE: Eastern State Penitentiary, 2027 Fairmount Ave., Fairmount

DETAILS: 15 attractions await visitors attending Eastern State Peniteniary’s Halloween Nights including a mind altering 3D haunted house, a scary walk through the Crypt and Machine Shop and an educational flashlight tour of the Hospital Block. If you’re driving, park at the designated lot at the Philadelphia Zoo and a shuttle will pick you up and take you back.

PRICE: Tickets start at $39 and are going fast, but vary depending on date

EVENT: Haunted Ship Halloween Party

DATE/TIME: Saturday, starts at 9 p.m.

WHERE: Moshulu, 401 S. Christopher Columbus Blvd., Penn’s Landing

DETAILS: It’s rumored that the Moshulu is haunted, so that probably makes it an ideal location for a Halloween party. There will be a live jazz band and two DJs. It’s 21+ so ID is required unless you’re an actual ghost.

PRICE: $30 with registration

EVENT: Mischief at the Mütter

DATE/TIME: Friday, 7 to 10 p.m.

WHERE: The Mütter Museum, 19 S. 22nd St., Center City

DETAILS: Mischief returns to the Mütter Museum for the sixth year. Your ticket includes a self guided museum tour, two drinks, magician and circus performances, tarot card readings and more.

PRICE: $100 with registration

EVENT: Philadelphia Cider Week

DATE/TIME: Through Nov. 6

WHERE: Different venues in Philadelphia

DETAILS: Since 2018, Philly Cider Week has been trying to expose the region to cider’s ever growing world and raise awareness of the historical beverage’s diversity. Check out the list of events for different tastings, pairings and a Ciderfest to wrap it all up on Nov. 6.

EVENT: Camden County History Month

DETAILS: Camden County History Month wraps up this weekend with events at the Walt Whitman House, Haddon Heights Railroad Station, Indian King Tavern Museum and more. These historical sites and organizations will be open with special exhibits, reenactments, and guided tours for adults and children
