While Sylvester Stallone may be done making "Rocky" movies, he is apparently not yet ready to leave Rocky Balboa alone just yet.

Fans are constantly arguing which of the eight films between the "Rocky" and "Creed" franchises is the best. For many, the obvious choice is 1985's "Rocky IV," but it will soon look a lot different. Stallone, who wrote, directed and starred in the film, has been hard at work re-cutting it, and now it is set to hit theaters for one night only this fall.

Over 35 years after the original release of "Rocky IV," fans will get a chance to experience 40 minutes of never-before-seen content. It is unknown what the film’s new footage will include, but it seems likely the new cut will exclude one polarizing element: a subplot featuring a robot Rocky buys for best friend Paulie. Stallone has previously said he dislikes those scenes and would excise them if possible.

According to UPROXX, this version of the film will hit theaters for a special one-night-only event on Nov. 11, before becoming available for streaming. Tickets are now on sale. Find a complete list of theater locations on the Fathom Events website.

A live Q&A with Stallone will be shown in select Fathom locations nationwide along with a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the director's cut.

"Rocky IV" is the highest-grossing of all the "Rocky" films, and it was the highest-grossing sports drama in cinema for nearly a quarter-century. It has been called one of the greatest sports movies of all time.
