Andre Bennett
Andre Bennett is a writer, news and digital editor at KYW Newsradio, as well as the producer of KYW's daily "Rewind" feature.
A Philadelphia native and graduate of Manfield University in Mansfield, Pennsylvania, Bennett started at KYW Newsradio as a desk assistant in 2004. He has also been a contributor for the (now-defunct) HearPhilly digital channel and hosted the KYW Newsradio original podcast "Cinema Obscura" from 2017-2019.
Bennett has also worked as an on-air host for streaming music stations Y-Rock on XPN and Y-Not Radio.
In addition to radio, Bennett is an award-winning independent filmmaker with a number of short films to his credit.
He lives in Philadelphia with his wife Jessica and their two cats.
