PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — The Eagles wrapped up three weeks of off-season workouts and will now get some time off before training camp.

After getting to know his players through Zoom, Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni said getting his team on the field the past three weeks was an important step forward.

"When you get to see them every day on the field, in the meeting room, that's different," he said.

"That's different to walk into the meeting room and talk to them about their families, smack their hand, and say, 'What's going on?' That was different. It was good just to get around those guys and build that connection that you're talking about."

Sirianni was happy with his players' progress on the field this week and said the coaches were willing to adjust to work with what's best for the players.

"We work together to get better. We work together on those fundamentals to get better, and so some of the best things I've learned as a coach is from different players. Again, you're working together with them, and so there's different ways to do it," he said.

The Eagles won't be back together until late next month when training camp gets underway.
