PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Two weekends ago at Fanatics Fest in New York City, an Eagles fan from Poughkeepsie, New York, showed up determined to win what you could argue is the prize of a lifetime for a sports fan.
JJ Nesheiwat, a husband and father of three young kids, went to the Fanatics Best Dressed Fan competition hoping to win a grand prize that included tickets to Super Bowl LX, WrestleMania 42 and the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final. He chose to recreate Saquon Barkley’s legendary reverse hurdle over the Jaguars Jarrian Jones. Nesheiwat dressed as a player on the Jaguars and held what he said was a 25-to-30-pound mannequin over his head, dressed as Barkley.
Nesheiwat’s creativity and determination paid off by winning the prize. He plans to take his wife, Lena, to Santa Clara next year for the Super Bowl, his five-year-old son, Marwan, to WrestleMania 42 in Vegas, and his father, Marwan (a soccer fan), to the World Cup Final at MetLife Stadium next summer.
To hear how he put together the costume, check out this week’s edition of the KYW Newsradio Philadelphia Sports Fan of the Week:
