PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — There is another McCutchen on the way.

Philadelphia Phillies veteran centerfielder Andrew McCutchen and his wife Maria will welcome their third child in mid-October.

Their first child Steel was born in November 2017 and Armani X was born on Christmas Eve 2019, at the end of the year McCutchen joined the Phillies.

In a post on Instagram, Maria said, “We can’t wait to meet you Lil’ mama!”, indicating the baby will be a girl.

A 13-year MLB veteran, McCutchen, 34, is a five-time All-Star and won an MVP in 2013 with the Pittsburgh Pirates.

McCutchen has a .240 batting average and a .783 OPS with 41 home runs and 123 RBI in 227 games with Philadelphia.

August has seen McCutchen and his team fall into a slump. He has only seven hits in 45 at-bats this month as the Phillies have gone 3-10.
