There's a movement happening right now in Philadelphia, as Phillies fans are buying up empty seats for Game 3 of the National League Championship Series at Chase Field in Arizona, just so there are less possible Diamondbacks fans in attendance.

"I bought four tickets that I won't be sitting in and that's just to keep it quiet and empty there," caller Patrick in Australia told Hugh Douglas and Joe Giglio on Thursday's 94WIP Midday Show, about five hours before the start of Game 3.

"It became more expensive because of the exchange right, because our dollar is not so good right now. They were $12 each, so in the end they were about $75. It's my contribution to the world series, hopefully victory. And yeah, grew up in Philly... Just thought let's keep this place quiet. However, if there's anybody in Arizona that's a Phillies fan, I'll give them to them."

Arizona radio host at 98.7 KMVP-FM Dave Burns admitted on Wednesday's 94WIP Midday Show that he's worried about the atmosphere today at Chase Field.

"It's a day game," Burns said on Wednesday's 94WIP Midday Show. "People are going to have to take off work to go... I just don't know how into it the crowd is going to be down 0-2. I've seen the ticket prices... I foresee a lot of Phillies fans being there. I just think it's going to be a weird vibe."

The Phillies defeated the Diamondbacks in the first two games of the NLCS at Citizens Bank Park, outscoring them by a combined total of 15-3, including a 10-0 shellacking in Game 2 last night.
