Sirianni tested positive Wednesday, one day after the team's 27-17 win over the visiting Washington Football Team. He told press he felt symptoms that morning, but started feeling better later that day.

He entered the NFL's COVID-19 protocols, and told press he would be involved in team meetings remotely. Passing game coordinator Kevin Patullo was appointed to on-site head coaching duties in his absence.

"This week's been pretty much the same as far as day-to-day duties we have with Nick," said Patullo, who said he was prepared for the possibility of having to coach on Sunday. "As far as the week goes, it's been very similar."

Sirianni told media Friday he felt ready to resume his duties. "Whenever they tell me I can, I'm ready to go," he said. "If it's a minute before the game, I'll be there. If it's two days before the game, I'll be there."
