PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — One man is dead and two others are injured after a drive-by shooting in Germantown Friday night.

Police say just before 7 p.m., a black SUV or large sedan was caught on camera driving up to a home on Hansberry Street. According to our newsgathering partners at NBC10, two people — one from outside the car, another from inside — then started to shoot at the home just as three men were coming through the front door.

According to NBC10, one man in his early twenties was shot multiple times throughout his body. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he died. Two 23-year-olds were injured — one in the neck, another in the arm. They both were taken to a nearby hospital and are expected to be OK.

At least 15 spent shell casings were found at the scene. The front door — made of glass — was shattered from the gunfire.

Investigators believe this was a targeted shooting. They ask anyone with information on the incident to contact the Philadelphia Police Department's Homicide Unit at 215-686-3334.
