1 dead, 2 injured in separate Philadelphia shootings overnight

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Two separate shootings in the city on Saturday night left one man dead and two others injured, police said.

The first incident happened just after 6 p.m. on B Street between Cambria Street and Indiana Avenue in Kensington. A man was pronounced dead minutes later.

The second shooting occurred an hour later, just after 7:30 p.m. at 55th Street and Larchwood Avenue in Cobbs Creek, where police said a man was shot and another was stabbed. Both were taken to the hospital.

Their conditions are not immediately known.

No arrests have been made and no weapons were recovered.
