BRISTOL, Pa. (KYW Newsradio) — Six families have been displaced after a fire tore through their Bucks County homes Friday morning.
Bristol Borough Deputy Fire Chief AJ DeAngelis said more than 100 firefighters responded to the blaze that damaged a multifamily unit on Garfield Street just off Trenton Avenue around 9:45 a.m.
He said it took about an hour and a half to get the fire under control.
No residents were hurt in the blaze, but a firefighter did suffer from minor smoke inhalation.
The Red Cross is helping the 13 residents who were displaced.
What caused the fire is not yet known. An investigation is underway.
