
PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Three people, including a teen boy, were wounded in separate shootings across Philadelphia overnight.
Police said it was just after 1 a.m. when a 17-year-old arrived at the hospital with gunshot wounds to his arm and leg.
The teen told officers he was shot near 22nd and Diamond Streets in North Philadelphia after being approached by three men in a red sedan.
Police, however, found no evidence of a shooting there.
About an hour earlier, two men were shot in East Germantown, and investigators said there was some sort of car crash involved.
Police said it happened just after midnight on North 21st Street, between Nedro and Kemble Avenues.
The pair was riding in a Toyota Camry on 21st Street when shots rang out, striking the two.
The driver, a 21-year-old, was shot in the head and is fighting for his life in the hospital. The 20-year-old passenger was hit in the arm and is in stable condition.
Police made no arrests in any of the shootings.
