PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police are searching for two people suspected of robbing an armored truck in the Crescentville neighborhood of Northeast Philadelphia.
Officials said around 3:15 p.m. on June 26, two armed men approached a Loomis truck driver who was making a delivery at the Aldi store on the 5200 block of Whitaker Avenue.
Police said the suspects disarmed the driver and stole $1,000 in cash. According to investigators, they drove a Nissan and fled towards Roosevelt Boulevard.
No arrests have been made. Northeast Detectives are handling the investigation.
