PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police are searching for two suspects wanted in connection with the shooting death of a 16-year-old outside Northeast High School last fall.
Zxavier Gregory was with a group of friends along Teesdale Street on Oct. 11, 2025, around 4 p.m., trying to resolve an argument over a girl when gunfire erupted.
“This incident stemmed from an ongoing dispute that began approximately a week prior involving [Saahir] Mauzon’s girlfriend and members of Gregory’s group,” said Homicide Lt. Tom Walsh.
Walsh said 17-year-old Mauzon is the one who killed Gregory. He was arrested and charged with murder, and now, officials are trying to track down two friends seen with Gregory who fired their weapons.
Both face aggravated assault and gun offenses.
