NEW JERSEY (KYW Newsradio) — A note on the door of a home in Mount Holly Township Friday afternoon led police to the discovery of three dead senior citizens.
The Burlington County Prosecutor's Office says a postal worker called police after finding a note that said to call 911.
When police arrived at the home along the unit block of Winding Way, near the township’s border with Eastampton, they found the bodies of three elderly individuals inside.
Officials say there is no danger or threat to the public.
The names of the deceased are being withheld pending the notification of family members.
Autopsies will be conducted over the weekend to determine the cause of death.
