PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A Montgomery County man was found shot dead inside a car in North Philadelphia on Monday night.
According to Philadelphia police, 39-year-old Dion Travis Abraham, of Abington, was shot several times in the chest and legs.
Around 8 p.m., officers responded to a report of a person with a gun along 17th Street, near Erie Avenue. There, they found Abraham in a parked 2008 silver Nissan Maxima with multiple gunshot wounds.
Officers took him to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Detectives are urging anyone with information about the homicide to submit a tip by calling 215-686-TIPS.
As with all homicides in Philadelphia, there is a $20,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
