PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — An Amazon delivery driver who allegedly struck and killed a man with his car in Allentown last month was arrested Wednesday morning in West Philadelphia.

According to the U.S. Marshals Service, the two men got into a verbal altercation on Nov. 21 in Allentown. Afterward, authorities said the Amazon driver intentionally hit the man with his car and fled.

The 29-year-old victim died later that day.

Last week, officials identified 30-year-old Troy Johnson, of Philadelphia, as the suspect.

U.S. marshals arrested him around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday in West Philadelphia on Norfolk Street, near 54th and Christian streets. They said he was in a family member’s house.

Police took Johnson back to Lehigh County, where he is being charged with third-degree murder.
