NEW JERSEY (KYW Newsradio) — Police are searching for a suspect and vehicle wanted in connection with an attempted house robbery in Evesham Township last week.
Officials say a person — armed with a knife — broke into a home in the Willow Ridge Development around 9:30 p.m. on Thursday.
Officials arrived at the residence minutes later, following a report of a physical altercation, and the homeowner opened the door, saying a person attempted to rob them but fled out the back door when police came.
Investigators used a police dog to track the suspect, but that ended once he got into a getaway car — a white, four-door sedan.
Officials say he’s about 5-foot-11 and was last seen in a ski mask and dark clothes.
