PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A man is dead after police said he crashed his ATV into an Uber in North Philadelphia Saturday night.
It was just before 9:30 p.m. when police said a 22-year-old man was riding his ATV the wrong way down Thompson Street and drove through a red light on 15th Street, striking a gray Toyota with five people inside, including four juveniles.
The ATV driver was taken to the hospital, where he died.
The 35-year-old Uber driver was also hospitalized and placed in stable condition.
The four young passengers were treated at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
An investigation is underway.
