WAYNE, Pa. (KYW Newsradio) — "Jackass" star and West Chester native Brandon "Bam" Margera was behind bars Wednesday morning, following an incident at a hotel in Wayne.
According to our partners at NBC10, Margera, 43, was arrested overnight and cited for public intoxication after police were called to the Radnor Hotel.
The hotel’s general manager said Margera arrived around 3:15 a.m. and attempted to get a room, but was barred from doing so because of a hotel policy. The manager said he appeared upset but left without incident.
Authorities were called about a half-hour later, but the manager told NBC10 there was no record of anyone at the Radnor contacting police.
Margera was later released from police custody and was issued a citation.
This latest arrest comes about two weeks after Margera pleaded not guilty in April to misdemeanor assault and harassment charges related to a physical altercation with his brother at their Chester County home.
Margera was released on $50,000 bail, but as a condition, a judge ruled he could not partake in any drug or alcohol use. It’s unclear how Wednesday’s arrest could affect Margera’s case moving forward.
