PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Authorities recovered the body of a woman from the Delaware River in South Philadelphia Monday morning.
It was just before 9:30 a.m. when police said she was found near the Walmart off Christopher Columbus Boulevard. She was pronounced dead at the scene about 20 minutes later.
The woman has not been identified.
Police are investigating what led to her death.
