PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A 14-year-old boy has been charged with multiple sexual assaults that happened over the past month in North Philadelphia.
Police say the boy was arrested on Feb. 11 after an indecent assault was reported near North 15th and West Norris streets.
He was charged with stalking, harassment and indecent assault in that case.
On Friday, the teen was also charged with five more sexual assaults that occurred in the last two months. According to police, they happened:
- Jan. 13, 6:20 p.m. near the corner of North 16th and West Bristol streets
- Jan. 13, 8:30 p.m. near the corner of North 5th and West Wingohocking streets
- Jan. 18, 6:20 p.m. near the corner of North Lawrence and West Rockland streets
- Feb. 7, 5:30 p.m. near the corner of North 13th and West Oxford streets
- Feb. 11, 8:55 p.m. near the corner of Willington Street and West Montgomery Avenue
Charges in those cases include indecent assault, unlawful restraint, harassment, stalking and related offenses.
In addition to the sexual assaults, the teen was charged with a robbery that happened on Feb. 7 at about 5:20 p.m. at North Broad and West Jefferson streets.
