PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — It took a jury only a half-hour of deliberations to convict a man of killing his ex-wife at a Wawa on the Main Line in 2019.

On Thursday, 37-year-old Brian Kennedy of Devon was found guilty of first-degree murder in the shooting death of Stephanie Miller.

It happened in March 2019 at the Wawa on Sugartown Road in Radnor Township — the former couple’s meeting place for their weekly custody exchange of their son.

Instead, Kennedy brought an AR-15 into the crowded store and fatally shot Miller.

She had a protection from abuse order against him but it expired a few months before.

Court papers show Kennedy was arrested in 2016 after threatening to kill Miller at the same Wawa.

The Delaware County District Attorney’s Office said Miller faces a mandatory life sentence in prison without the possibility of parole.
