PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A 32-year-old man was arrested in Bucks County after officials said he stalked and killed a woman.

Yujun Ren is accused of shooting his partner in what Bucks County District Attorney Joe Khan called "a sobering reminder of the lethal nature of domestic violence."

Khan said on Saturday, a woman reported a sexual assault to the Philadelphia Police Department, and attempted to end her relationship with Ren.

According to officials, Ren began stalking her car in the early morning hours on Sunday. Eventually, Khan says Ren shot her inside her car.

Ren was arrested by Bristol Township police and then arraigned on Sunday. He's been charged with homicide, stalking, and possessing a weapon.

Court documents say Ren was denied bail and is being held at the Bucks County Correctional Facility.

Ren's preliminary hearing is scheduled for Tuesday morning.
