CAMDEN, N.J. (KYW Newsradio) — A 19-year-old pedestrian was struck and killed early Tuesday morning by an off-duty Camden police officer.
According to the Camden County Prosecutor’s office, the accident happened just before 1 along Admiral Wilson Boulevard near 16th Street.
The victim, identified as 19-year-old Angel Saravia-Estrada of Camden, was rushed to the hospital and died a short time later.
The driver remained on the scene. The accident remains under investigation and additional details were not provided.
