Man fatally shot while parking car in Norristown; suspect wanted

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Pa. (KYW Newsradio) — A man was shot to death while sitting inside his car in Norristown Thursday night.

Video released by Norristown police shows a person in an all-black outfit with a blue bag hiding in a stairwell before approaching the driver’s side window of 27-year-old Cesar Flores Diaz’s car as he was parking on George Street near Elm Street around 9 p.m.

The suspect then fired multiple shots into the car before fleeing.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found Flores Diaz with multiple gunshot wounds to the head.

Officials are offering a $5,000 reward for any information leading to the suspect’s arrest.
