PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A man accused of stabbing a woman while she was sleeping in her Wayne home is now facing new charges.
In addition to attempted murder charges, police say 40-year-old Charles Hall, of Broomall, Delaware County, also inappropriately touched the woman’s teenage daughter days before the stabbing.
Court documents say Hall brought the girl to a birthday party at a movie theater in King of Prussia, where he allegedly indecently assaulted her. Detectives fear there could be more victims.
“There is a great concern whether or not he has preyed upon other children,” said Radnor Township Police Lt. Christopher Four. “We are asking anybody that feels they may have been a victim of Mr. Hall to come forward, dial 911.”
Hall faces 12 new counts related to the indecent assault of a child.
Around 2 a.m. on Feb. 25, police said Hall — who was a volunteer firefighter — broke into the woman’s house and stabbed her. The teenager was also injured when she tried to intervene in the alleged attack.
Police caught up with him not long after, when he crashed his car in Haverford Township.
