CHERRY HILL, N.J. (KYW Newsradio) — A 52-year-old Cherry Hill man has been arrested and charged with attempted murder after allegedly shooting another man in a parking lot Wednesday evening.
Cherry Hill police were alerted about a shooting in the parking lot of the Liberty Bell Plaza just before 4 p.m. When they arrived, they found a 61-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.
Detectives later determined he was shot by 52-year-old Terrence Roberts, who was driving a car that had pulled up next to the 61-year-old’s vehicle.
Surveillance video then helped detectives track Roberts to his driveway. He was taken into custody and faces multiple charges, including first-degree attempted murder and second-degree unlawful possession of a weapon.
Roberts is being held at the Camden County jail pending a detention hearing.
