PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — An 8-year-old was taken to a hospital Saturday after he was found hanging by his neck at an indoor park in King of Prussia.
Upper Merion police say it happened around 1:40 p.m. at Thrillz High Flying Adventure Park on Henderson Road.
The boy climbed headfirst down a rope ladder, got tangled up and lost consciousness.
He was eventually freed and two off-duty cops administered CPR on him.
Officials say he regained consciousness and was able to speak. He was then taken to Paoli Memorial Hospital.
Investigators have ruled the incident an accident. The park remained open yesterday, but the rope ladder the boy was climbing on closed.
