PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Community College of Philadelphia and Thomas Jefferson University in East Falls have teamed up once again — this time, in a new dual admission partnership.

Sandra Gonzalez-Torres with CCP says the partnership expands existing programs with clear guidelines and benefits without confusion for those pursuing a bachelor's degree.

It comes with scholarships and an extra $2,500 if a student is enrolled in the dual admission program — that’s on top of the $2,200 for the highest GPA.

The dual admission agreement is already in effect. Existing CCP students just need to go into the portal system and fill out the dual admission form.

In addition to this agreement, a separate one allows CCP staff, faculty, alumni, trustees and members of their immediate families a reduced tuition at Thomas Jefferson University.
