DARBY BOROUGH, P.A. (KYW Newsradio) — Darby Borough, Delaware County Mayor Joar Dahn is in the hospital after being injured in a hit-and-run crash.
According to the mayor's office, the crash happened Tuesday night.
The news came in a post on the mayor's Facebook page about an event that's being postponed.
“We must regretfully announce the postponement of the 3rd Ward Resident Listening Session, originally set for Friday, July 31st,” reads part of the message “Last night, Mayor Dahn was involved in an automobile accident. Due to injuries sustained in a hit-and-run incident, he is currently receiving care at the hospital.”
There were no further details about the crash. It is unknown where it happened or whether anyone has been arrested in connection with the hit-and-run.
