DARBY, Pa. (KYW Newsradio) — Police in Darby, Delaware County, have arrested four people they said were selling drugs following a monthslong investigation.

Across August and September, Darby police coordinated controlled drug purchases through confidential informants with three different suspects.

One informant met with George Singleton, 56, of Darby twice, buying 10 doses of Suboxone — a drug meant to treat opioid addiction — the first time, and then 25 10-milligram Percocets the second.

Another informant bought from Philadelphia man Bruce Lewis, 32, three times, with police saying that CI acquired cocaine and Xanax from Lewis. Officials said one of those purchases was made at the Wishing Well bar on 6th Street in Darby.

An informant also made three controlled buys of cocaine from Kyle Cain, 42, of Camden.

Those three men were arrested last Thursday, Sept. 18, as was Khayree Blue, 25, after a search warrant was executed at his home on Summit Street. There, police found three clear knotted sandwich bags with a white crystal substance, cutting and packaging materials with plates that had white residue, and a stack of fake U.S. currency.

Officers also searched a 2021 Nissan Maxima, finding 11 bags containing a white powdery substance, three small chunks of a white crystal substance, and a box of white chunky substance.

All four face charges related to possession of controlled substances with intent to distribute. They await preliminary hearings next month.
