A van driver for a Christian School in Bear, Delaware, has been charged and arrested for raping a student multiple times over seven months.
New Castle County Police said 34-year-old Joseph Caceres of Bear, Delaware, was employed as a van driver for Red Lion Christian Academy. He is accused of raping a 14-year-old student between November 2024 and May 2025.
Police investigators said Caceres drove the girl from school regularly, visited her at home, and would take the girl to places where the alleged sexual assaults would occur.
Caceras was arrested on Sunday at his residence after, police said, the victim contacted them, saying she had a sexual relationship with the man.
He was charged with five felony counts of 3rd degree rape.
Caceras is behind bars after failing to post $100,000 cash bail.
